Overview

Island Flavors, located at 2901 Perry Ave NE, Bremerton, WA 98310, United States, is a welcoming spot for Filipino cooking, combining prepared dishes with a small selection of Filipino and Asian grocery items. The restaurant has a simple, established feel, and its long presence in the area gives it the character of a neighborhood business rather than a polished modern eatery. Among the dishes that stand out, lechon kawali is a popular choice, offering the rich, satisfying qualities associated with crispy pork, while the ribs provide another hearty option for diners looking for a substantial meal. Lumpia is also a notable part of the experience and works well as a snack, appetizer, or addition to a larger order. Spam musubi brings another familiar island-inspired option to the selection, and comforting dishes such as stew can make the menu particularly appealing when something warm and filling is called for. Beyond the food itself, Island Flavors is characterized by friendly and generous service. The people behind the counter are described as kind and welcoming, with thoughtful gestures that can make a casual visit feel more personal. Prices are considered fair, adding to the approachable nature of the restaurant for customers who want a straightforward meal without an overly formal setting. The interior may feel somewhat older, but the space also includes Filipino and Asian products for purchase, including frozen goods, giving customers an opportunity to browse specialty ingredients and packaged items while stopping in for food. With the business having reportedly served the area for around 18 years, there is a sense of familiarity to the operation, reflected in its traditional dishes, relaxed atmosphere, and personal service. Between plates of lechon kawali and ribs, orders of musubi and lumpia, nourishing stew, and shelves stocked with Asian goods, the space blends the roles of a casual Filipino eatery and neighborhood specialty shop.

I was so happy to find this spot when I was so hungry and in need of a nourishing meal! Belen and her husband were so kind and have been here for 18years! Thank you for the delicious stew and lumpia!

Belen was very happy to help me out with the choices for desserts. She made sure to slice them into portions that would be perfect for the number of guests I would have. Instead of saying yes to preparing them for me on the phone, she was very honest about how this may not be the result I wanted. I think this is a great quality. Also, she saw that my husband was checking out the mangoes and gave me one for free to give to my husband. I would say that I am now a very happy and constant customer.

Their Lechon kawali is probably my favorite, I like their ribs as well. A good place to eat filipino dishes. The place though is a bit old. They have some Filipino/asian goods for sale as well as some frozen goods.

We ordered two spam masubi for me and my brothers and the lady working gave us six free lumpias. I've never had lumpia before and I liked these ones alot. Wasn't too hot in the store, fair prices.

Went here with my wife, we are happy with what we got. Each plate was $9.99 each. I got Adobo my wofe got the stewed beef, both were flavorful and easy to eat. The owner was nice, we got our food right away and everything tasted good. The plates we got included the meat as well as white rice and pancit, we both tried each others entree/meat and everything was good across the board.. Worth checking out! And price is as reasonable as anywhere else, nothing is hardly "cheap" these days.

Amazing food! Went here today with my buddy, got the stewed beef, and the curry too. Totally delicious. The curry could have been spicier, but still flavorful!
