Sol Delish, located at 1309 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11216, brings an inviting Chinese dining experience to the neighborhood, with a menu that stands out for freshly prepared dishes, generous portions, and flavors that range from comforting to pleasantly spicy. The restaurant has an enthusiastic, welcoming atmosphere, supported by staff who are described as friendly, attentive, and eager to introduce diners to different dishes and their cultural background. This personal approach adds another dimension to the meal, particularly for anyone interested in exploring Chinese cuisine beyond familiar takeout favorites. Among the dishes that have attracted attention are the crispy shrimp with cucumbers, combining contrasting textures with well-balanced seasoning, as well as soup dumplings known for their delicate wrappers and rich, savory broth. Spicy wontons provide another flavorful option, while spicy cabbage may appear as a small accompaniment that adds extra heat and crunch to the table. Fresh preparation is an important part of the experience, and the substantial serving sizes help make the pricing feel reasonable, especially for groups interested in ordering several items to share. Bubble tea is another notable part of Sol Delish, offering a refreshing drink alongside the savory dishes and providing a sweeter counterpoint to some of the spicier flavors. Although takeout is an option, the restaurant also gives diners reasons to stay and eat inside, where the warm service and playful touches such as games contribute to a casual, social setting. The combination works particularly well for meals with friends, relaxed neighborhood dining, or an evening spent sampling several dishes together, with soup dumplings, spicy wontons, crispy shrimp, cucumbers, cabbage, and bubble tea providing a varied introduction to what the kitchen prepares.

Stopped by this new restaurant for dinner and everything we got was delicious. The staff is very excited to recommend dishes and share their knowledge of the menu. We tried the beef soup dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, scallion noodles, chicken spring rolls, and chicken dumplings. The soup dumplings are perfect for this winter weather. The broth flavor is rich and gingery. I can’t wait to come back and keep exploring the menu.

If you want the nostalgic taste of Chinatown cuisine this is the place. Their soup dumplings are amazing (I’d could just have the broth by itself and be a happy camper). Most of my food didn’t make it long enough to get photographed - highly recommend their new general chicken (perfect blend of tangy saucy sweet on chicken).

Finding this place made my whole week. It’s really hard to have authentic Chinese food in bedstuy especially soup dumplings because they don’t travel well. But they have the works. Everything is super delicious, we ordered the wagyu dumplings (CHEESE) , marinated cucumbers, crab and corn soup, black truffle soup dumplings, and my all time favorite - home cooked type comfort dish - tomato egg but with beef. Even the rice is fluffy. I ordered takeout so I have enough for leftovers. The staff is incredibly sweet too and made you feel like home. The inside has nice assortment of books, table top games like chess and air hockey. I would come back and eat here again.

Such a great spot! The food was amazing, and the staff made the experience even better. I loved the crunchy cucumber and edamame as starters—they were so fresh. The crispy beef was perfectly cooked, and both the shrimp and beef dumplings were so flavorful. The tomato crumbled eggs with beef were just perfect—comfort food at its best! The staff was super friendly, and the owner, Lucy, was so sweet. She came by to check on us and even helped explain the different dishes. It’s such a welcoming place, and I can’t wait to go back!

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese cuisine in Brooklyn, Sol Delish is the place to be! From start to finish, this dining experience was nothing short of amazing. The service was outstanding—every staff member was so friendly and genuinely passionate about the food. They went above and beyond, sharing insights about the dishes’ cultural significance and even the chef’s fascinating history. It added a unique, personal touch to our evening. Now, onto the food—wow. We tried so many dishes, but the standout for me was definitely the crispy shrimp and cucumbers. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, it’s a must-try! To my surprise, even the bubble tea impressed me. I’m not usually a fan, but theirs was incredibly flavorful and refreshing, the perfect end to a great meal with friends. I can’t wait to visit Sol Delish again. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a memorable night out, this spot is worth every bite. Highly recommend!

New Favorite in the area! This spot offers unique dishes to the area at a reasonable price! Large serving sizes and an extremely generous staff excited to share their dishes. Was planning on taking out but ended up eating in and enjoying the soup dumplings on recommendation- they were extremely soft and rich in broth. Other highlights include spicy wontons and complimentary spicy cabbage. Cannot wait to try more items.
