Taco El Vaquero in Marion, TX 78124, is a compact taco spot centered on generously filled breakfast tacos and street-style lunch options. The breakfast selection is especially notable for familiar combinations such as bacon, bean, and cheese, along with potato, chorizo, and egg. Portions are described as substantial, with two tacos often making a satisfying breakfast. Chorizo and egg is another recurring favorite, offering the kind of straightforward combination that fits naturally into an early-morning meal. Beyond breakfast, the mini taco plate provides a different way to explore the menu. The carne asada version comes with five street tacos loaded with meat, onions, and cilantro, while pastor is another available choice that has drawn positive attention. A Mexican Coke can accompany the tacos for a classic pairing. The kitchen itself is small, yet the steady demand for its food is one of the most noticeable parts of the experience. Lines can form even when outdoor temperatures are particularly cold or hot, so visitors may encounter a wait during busy periods. What keeps the focus firmly on Taco El Vaquero is the consistency associated with its tacos, as different varieties have been enjoyed across repeat visits rather than just one specific order standing out. The combination of large breakfast portions, meat-filled mini tacos, and simple toppings gives the menu a direct, unfussy character. For someone arriving in the morning, bacon, bean, and cheese or potato, chorizo, and egg provide substantial options, while later in the day the carne asada or pastor mini taco plate shifts toward a traditional street-taco format. With customers regularly lining up outside its tiny kitchen, Taco El Vaquero has a busy, casual setup where the emphasis stays on freshly prepared tacos and familiar Mexican flavors.

I cannot see anyone giving them less than 5 stars! I've tried different tacos and they have all been great every time I can visit!

Just tried them for the first time. Beef enchiladas were on point. They have a unique flavor to them that I can’t figure out. Very good. Would recommend.

The carne guisada is perfect!! This is pretty authentic if you ask me. I didn’t get to snap a picture of the tacos but I did snap the enchiladas. The enchiladas are good, but not my favorite. I would settle for the tacos.

I was surprised to find such good food at a mobile food truck. These people certainly know how to cook and the quality of their food reflects in their ratings. I for one will be supporting them anytime. I am out in Marion.

Just Awesome! I get the bacon, bean and cheese or/and potatoe, chorizo and egg tacos for breakfast (they're big so 2 is good). Try the mini taco plate in Carne asada for the perfect lunch (pastor is good too). 5 street tacos covered in meat, onions and cilantro. Rinse that down with a Mexican coke and your ready for a nap. There is always a line here. It'll be a frozen 32F or a blistering 102F and people will be waiting to get their tacos. That says something about the food coming out of this tiny kitchen.
