My husband and I are big foodies and this place is sister to chimolis Mexican steakhouse. Wow!!!! Trust me when I tell you this was just mouth watering. The flavors of every dish just melted in our mouth. We order the queso fundido with chicharron en salsa verde, panchos de asada, and the ribs. Every dish was out of this world good!!! If you haven’t tried and don’t mind splurging a little, I recommend you give it a try.

I celebrated my birthday here and had such a great experience! Our waitress, Jacky, was amazing—so friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome the whole time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating. Everything was wonderful, and Jacky really made the day extra special. I will definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don’t normally write reviews unless my experience is super bad or super great, and let me say this place blew me away. Our server Virginia was super accommodating & so nice! She was so knowledgeable about the menu, gave us great recommendations & made sure our drinks were never empty. From the service to the drinks to the ambience and of course the star of the show, the food! I went with a group of friends and we got a little bit of everything and not one dish disappointed. My top dishes were the cazuela asado de puerco & queso fundido with chicharon! Their drinks were so amazing! Their paloma is probably the best one I’ve ever had. They make their palomas with fresh grapefruit juice & makes all the difference. We had the pistachio pie for dessert & it really was the cherry on top of everything! I love their sister restaurant Chimolli but will definitely be coming here more often; I love the more casual feel to this place. Would 100/10 recommend!

The food was great and the service was as well. The only reason I do not give this a 5 star rating is because they don’t bring your food at the same time for your party. They serve your food at whatever time it’s ready. Meaning some will get their food first while others wait. However, the server did make us aware of this when we arrived. This makes sense with the name of the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back

Food was delicious!Truly recommend it! We had the parrillada, guacamole, and chicharrones. Also service by our waiter Jackie was awesome! She made excellent recommendations!

The food 10/10 - great portions, shareable, and really good. Best panchos I’ve had in the valley. The service: 1000/10 - Jackie was extremely attentive, detailed about be the food and even provided her recommendation which we took (the botana) which was the best choice to go with. The atmosphere: 10/10 - the place is beautiful, and the music is perfect for vibing but still having the ability to have conversations. Going there personally will disqualify any bad review regarding the time between plates of food. The sever (Jackie) perfectly explained the concept of the restaurant, which entails sharing plates as a botana. Def going back later at night for the night life portion.

My wife & I really enjoyed the tacos de trompo al pastor! We added some grilled onions also. They were absolutely delicious. What made it the bomb was the savory medium hot salsa that they recommend with the tacos. They also served us a bowl of peanuts & a serving of fried pork which was delicious with the three bottles of homemade salsas at the table accompanied by some fresh wedges of limes. We also dug into a huge potato ( la papona) filled with several meats: trumpo, fajita, bacon, sour cream & cheese. It was delicious all the way around. Definitely a must try in Brownsville. The menu has a variety of food which is always a plus for me. The place is really nice inside and it carries a nice vibe. Hats off to the staff explaining the menu. Our server Jackie and chef Mary did a fantastic job. 5 stars for sure!

love this place, something completely different in brownsville!!! danny is an amazing bartender!! no one makes drinks like him 10/10 recommend ! go in sit at the bar and visit danny >.<
