Nas Restaurant, located at 833 Conti St in New Orleans, offers a Mediterranean-inspired dining option with a welcoming, family-run atmosphere and a menu that combines familiar favorites with satisfying portions. The restaurant has been noted for its warm service, with attentive staff and a chef who takes an active interest in the dining experience. Among the dishes worth exploring is the lamb wrap, featuring juicy, flavorful meat accompanied by fries and served in a portion substantial enough for a filling meal. Baba ghanoush is another appealing choice, bringing a smooth, savory start to the table before moving on to one of the restaurant’s heartier selections. The seared shrimp po’ boy adds a New Orleans touch to the menu, arriving with a generous amount of shrimp and plenty of fresh vegetables for a combination that feels both substantial and balanced. Diners looking for classic Mediterranean fare can also consider options such as the chicken gyro, while the evolving menu suggests that additional dishes may become available as the restaurant continues developing its selection. The space can feel relatively quiet at certain times, which may suit guests who prefer a more relaxed meal away from the busier crowds found elsewhere in central New Orleans. Service remains personable even during slower periods, with staff paying close attention to guests without creating a rushed atmosphere. Nas Restaurant brings together Mediterranean flavors, generous servings, friendly hospitality, and dishes ranging from creamy baba ghanoush and savory lamb wraps to seafood-focused choices such as the shrimp po’ boy, giving visitors several different directions to explore depending on whether they want a light starter, a handheld meal, or something more substantial.

Went here to get a meal after a lottt of walking. We got baba ghanoush to start, 10/10. I got the seared shrimp po boy, it was delicious! Had a good amount of shrimp and a lot of vegetables. My aunt got a chicken gyro, she said it was okay. The place was mostly empty the whole time, one cashier and server, he was very sweet though, and attentive.

If you're looking for unbeatable value and incredible quality, this spot is an absolute gem! Conveniently located right in the heart of New Orleans, just a short walk from Bourbon Street, it’s a rare find in a tourist-heavy area where prices are usually inflated just because they can be. But not here—this place is genuinely affordable without compromising on portion size, freshness, or flavor. The Mediterranean food here is phenomenal—hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Every bite bursts with bold, authentic flavors that somehow get better as you eat. The portions are generous, the prices are shockingly low for the area, and the overall value is unmatched. It’s the kind of place you stumble upon and immediately regret not discovering sooner. If I had found it earlier in my trip, I honestly would have eaten here every single day. What really sets this place apart, beyond the incredible food and prices, is the atmosphere and the owner. He’s incredibly kind, welcoming, and clearly pours his heart and soul into the business. It’s refreshing to see such genuine hospitality and hard work in a place that could easily be just another overpriced tourist trap—but instead, it’s a standout for all the right reasons. If you're craving delicious, affordable, flavor-packed Mediterranean food in New Orleans, do not miss this place. It's so good!!!

Under new and frankly more polite and warm administration. Family owned. The chef came out to greet me and asked about the experience. He promised that the menu will considerably expand in coming days. I got lamb wrap and fries. Meat was juicy and tasty. The portion size was generous. I highly recommend it.

It was an ok place to eat. I expected more from the previous reviews. I had the lentil soup and it was served with stale tortilla chips. My husband ordered the chicken gyro, but was served some other kind, he said definitely was not chicken.

Had to give this place my first ever google review and upload some pics to help them out. Ordered takeout from here the other day and it was SO GOOD. I got 2 orders of Mexican style chicken tacos for me and a friend and they were so delicious I was tempted to go back and order more as soon as I was done eating. Tacos come 4 to an order on corn tortillas and any fixings you would possibly want to put on top. The man who I’m assuming is the owner said it opened around a month ago. He was beyond friendly and even let us have the remote to the tv while we waited for our food. He makes everything fresh and to order and seemed willing to make any sort of food accommodations to make the customer happy. He offered to mix chicken and beef for our tacos if we wanted. I promise this place won’t disappoint! Ps he said he would deliver for locals!
