I’ve had this place saved for awhile to try the masa pancakes, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. This dish is a must order. The sausage egg and cheese was the perfect offset to the spicy sweetness of the pancakes. I think there was cornmeal in the pancakes, they’re so soft too they almost melt in the mouth. The home fries were great but I’d try a different side next time. The interior, from the wallpaper to the lamps, is so thoughtfully chosen and the space feels warm and lived-in. A wonderful diner

Incredibly delicious food in such a nostalgic 80s grandma’s house atmosphere. I love how the staff match the theme of this restaurant as well. I had the Masa pancakes, bacon and cheesy grits- all so incredibly delicious. The bacon was thick, and the Johnny cakes were moist and buttery. The spicy honey butter added the perfect touch as well. The grits were made just right. I’m so excited to come back!

straight up exceptional diner food. pancakes are fluffy with crispy edges and rich vanilla flavor. the home fries with caramlized onions brings them to another level, with the most perfectly toasted bread and soft eggs. very spacious floor design that can easily accommodate big groups. coffee is delicious, which sets it apart from most diners. so fortunate to have a reasonably priced place located right in the heart of bed stuy, will definitely become an institution

These got to be top 5 pancakes in Bk for sure! WOW! Sooo fluffy, and the butter melts sooo perfectly, 3 stacks just the right amount. I also ordered the bacon. Now to be fair it did say it was thick bacon, but sheesh, they was hard to cut. Still amazing with the pancakes. I’m and deff coming back and bringing friends who visit. Also I loooove the aesthetic.

Haven’t stopped talking about this place all day. Amazing food— pancakes were so good I was freaking out!! Took one home (because I was so full) and ended up showing all my roommates. Like a prized fish. Service was really incredible as well. Our servers were so friendly and personable and I would trust them with my life. Will absolutely be returning!

I was excited to find this opened up so close to me. I was even more excited when I recognized the owner from another one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood! There was a bit of a wait, so prepare yourself if you’re in a rush. It was worth the wait. The food didn’t take too long coming out and they managed to bring everything out at the same time. I LOVE pancakes so I tried the masa ones. And I was pleased. I have to make it a point to come back for the buttermilk ones! The sausages were so good and tasted home made! My father INHALED that smash burger! I will definitely be back…more times than i care to admit. I appreciate the staff and the old school decor, making me feel like I’m in someone’s living room. Get past the sea of hipsters in the front, and you’ll enjoy every moment!

This place is a must. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, ultra fine food. I had the grits and eggs, my daughter had potato and egg sandwich. Homefries were also amazing. Very crispy. Our server Madison could not have been nicer or more stylish. Just go.

Let’s just say I can’t wait to come back! The food is amazing, service is amazing, and very price friendly. A great addition to the Bedstuy community! The waiters were very knowledgeable! Only critique I have is that it could be a little warmer in the restaurant. It was cold on a cold day.
