Antonian Hall

Antonian Hall, located at Franciscan Way E in Steubenville, Ohio, is a food hall that offers a broad mix of everyday dining choices in a casual setting. The space is generally kept fairly clean, and the food selection has several dependable favorites alongside items that can vary in availability and consistency. Potatoes appear in different preparations and provide a familiar option, while pizza is another appealing choice when it is being served. For diners looking for something lighter, salad is regularly available with meals, making it easier to put together a simple fresh plate. Breakfast is particularly notable for made-to-order omelets, which add a customizable element and allow diners to choose something prepared specifically for them. Antonian Hall also stands out for its cereal selection, giving breakfast diners plenty of choices beyond hot dishes. Those with a sweet tooth may be drawn to the ice cream, which can be especially enjoyable, although the flavors and options may change from time to time. The overall quality of the food can fluctuate over the course of the semester, with some periods offering a stronger dining experience than others. This unpredictability means the most appealing dishes may depend on the day and what is currently available at each station. Allergen-friendly offerings are provided, though their flavor and overall appeal could benefit from greater attention and variety. The hall’s combination of pizza, salads, breakfast foods, cereals, potatoes, desserts, and rotating selections creates a cafeteria-style experience suited to diners who appreciate having several categories of food available in one place. Made-to-order omelets, consistent access to salad, and the changing assortment of ice cream add extra variety to the regular lineup, while the rotating nature of the menu keeps individual meals from always looking exactly the same.
